“My name is Beatriz, I am 32 years old and since I was 11 I have universal alopecia areata, that is, no hair on my head, no eyebrows or eyelashes. All my life until recently I have worn a hat, I had a wig that I wore a couple of times and I never wore it again because it was heavy, itchy a lot, hot and also had a lot of hair. For some time now I wanted to change the hat for something with which I saw myself more favored.
I went to a very famous hairdresser in Coruña to ask and they were explaining to me that you can make custom prostheses that are attached to the head and you do not notice anything, all I had to do was a mold to send to make the prosthesis. Nothing exaggerated, in fact it took us a while to see the shape of the eyebrow that best fit me and the eyelashes that most conformed to my eyes. All super personalized and tailor-made. In addition, as it is all natural hair, it does not look weird.
I returned to Galicia happy. The people of my town, who have known me all my life, stopped me to tell me how happy they were to see that my hair had grown out after so many years, that I was beautiful. I think it’s the best I could do.
Now I’m going for the second system, this time I dared with a longer hair, not much, but a half mane with the forehead exposed, and I even dyed it to get the exact color I wanted. It is easy to remove, put on and clean. I take it out every 2 weeks, clean the glue and, the next morning, in 20 minutes at most it is already placed. When the hair looks dirty, I wash it in the shower, with it on my head, only with water, and then I give it serum or mask. The dry with loose dryer and with little heat and is perfect!
